Editor's Notes
Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics is a collection of ten books which address topics considered relevant to ethical behavior. Each of the books is roughly a dozen or so chapters in length, with some chapters much longer than others, depending on the arguments and the information Aristotle discussed. I divided these books and chapters into seventy-eight sections, making the sections as short as possible while keeping the text legible. I also provided William Ross's table of contents in toto, making some small changes for the sake of clarity.
I last visited the Ethics on June 2nd, 2009.
