while i was gone the Ontario Consultants on Religious Tolerance (OCRT) bestowed their first Burning Times Award on my state's governor. ever hear the old joke: "What does the 'N' stand for in 'Nebraska'?"? punchline: "Knowledge.". now you know why the joke got started. (no, i take that back: the joke probably began during the days of William Jennings Bryan, another famous Nebraskan. or maybe it was soon after people found out L.
